To celebrate The Flower Farmers’ Big Weekend, I am holding an informal class here to guide you through my process of how to pick and what to look out for when you are graced with a field full of flowers and foliage.
This is a day about working with a home-grown floral palette. How to focus on the elements – how to choose colours, textures and those extra special and unique pieces that you will only find in a garden.
We will then work together in my studio – or in the garden if weather permits, to create a beautiful high summer informal table arrangement.
Cost includes your own picked bucket of flowers, light refreshments and a bowl for your flowers. Bookings essential. Suitable for florists or flower growers who are interested in exploring and expanding on their knowledge of working with a uniquely different and beautiful palette of home-grown flowers, and interested in ways of exploring and working with the transition of flowers from a field to your arrangement.
Parking for 8 cars available adjacent to flower field.
