Roots Family Farm Shop Flowery Festival

We will be hosting two days of events to launch the first ever national ‘Flower Farmer’s Big Weekend’. As members of Flowers from the Farm, we are joining forces with other flower farmers, designers, florists and enthusiasts from the West Midlands region to host flowery workshops, walks round the flower garden, food and music over two days in August.

Friday 16th – from 11am and throughout the day, on into the festival evening for food and music until 9pm

Join us on Friday afternoon for free to attend workshops with a flowery festival theme. Learn to make a flower crown for yourself or a four-legged friend! Jam jar posies, decorations for outdoor events, wow your guests with a fresh flower chandelier to dine under! Running on into the evening there will be music to accompany our ‘Pizza Night’ from 5pm until 9pm. Booking essential!

Saturday 17th August – from 1pm until 4pm

Dressed in vintage flowery finery, join us for more, free to attend workshops in and around the flower garden where a string quartet will play as you take traditional afternoon tea. Cream teas will be served from 1pm – 4pm. Tickets for tea will be available in advance from Roots Tel. 01905 421104.

Roots is located one mile from the centre of Worcester at the west end of Rushwick village, just off the A4103 Hereford Road. There is ample parking.
